Kent Remembers Sept. 11 with Ceremony Downtown

Kent police, fire and religious leaders mark the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks

Leaders of Kent's police and fire departments and local houses of worship gathered to mark the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks Thursday evening.

The commemoration, held downtown at Home Savings Plaza, included a performance by the Western Reserve Community Band as part of the Home Heritage Concert Series.
