Levy was arrested Saturday at 540 S. Lincoln St., a multi-family rental house, where a second victim complained to police of the sexual imposition charge. That victim's ability to assess the situation also was "substantially impaired," according to court records.

Kent police declined to comment on the case this morning, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.

Levy has previously been convicted on sexual imposition charges and is listed as a registered sex offender on the Portage County Sheriff's Office website.

He was arraigned on the charges this morning in Portage County Common Pleas Court. He pleaded not guilty to the sexual imposition charge, and a preliminary hearing is set for Sept. 9. He is being held on a $50,000 bond and was ordered to have no contact with the rape victim.

The Akron native told police he works as a cashier at Kent's near the campus. He is not registered as a student at Kent State, according to the university.
