Update: Missing Kent Girl Found

A family member found Tieesha 'Ty' Foreman this morning after she went missing Wednesday

A Kent girl missing since Wednesday was found this morning in Ravenna.

Kent Police Lt. Paul Canfield said a family member found Tieesha "Ty" Foreman, 14, this morning in Ravenna after she didn't come home from a summer school session Wednesday at .

Family members did not want to disclose details of how she was found.

"She was found safe," Tieesha's uncle, Craig Foreman, said. "It’s beause of some of the leads and help from everyone else and support and prayers that she was found.”

Tieesha's family reported her missing Wednesday just after 6 p.m. She was due home from summer school at 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, and she was last seen on Lake Street around noon.

Craig Foreman said earlier this morning before she was found that they were unsure if she might have gone to stay with someone.

Canfield said she appeared to be OK and uninjured when she was found.

Tieesha's mother, Tracy Foreman, is a teacher at in Kent.
