Fugitive Wanted for Obstruction of Justice after High Speed Chase

The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Emmitt Smith a.k.a. “E."    

Smith is wanted by the U.S. Marshals for violating conditions of his federal supervised release. Smith is also wanted by the Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s Office for obstruction of justice.  

Smith is accused of performing adrug transaction on Nov. 14, 2012. When Cleveland police attempted to stop Smith, he led them on a high speed chase, driving through several lawns and endangering public safety.

Smith, 30, is a black male standing approximately 6 feet 1 inch and weighing 245 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.

Smith is suspected to be hiding out somewhere on the westside Cleveland. He also had a previous address near the 3500 block of Meyer Ave. in Cleveland.
