A fire broke out at ACS Industries late Monday night that forced workers to evacuate the company's manufacturing plant.
The Kent Fire Department responded to the fire at 2151 Mogadore Road at about 8:30 p.m.
An employee at ACS told Kent Patch no one was injured in the blaze and the workers on second shift were able to quickly evacuate the factory, which produces large machine implements used in the construction trade.
He said the fire was contained to a small painting area of the building.
Firefighters had the blaze under control by 9:30 p.m.
Kent Police closed Mogadore Road at the S.R. 261 intersection until just before 10 p.m.
Firefighters from multiple area departments, including Stow, Brimfield, Ravenna and Streetsboro, all responded.
It's unclear what caused the blaze and how much damage it caused.
