Construction Worker Hurt in Fall from Patio Roof

Kent Fire Department transported him to Robinson Memorial Hospital

A construction worker escaped serious injury after falling from the patio roof under construction at Bar 145 downtown.

Kent Fire Chief Dave Manthey said firefighters responded Friday to a report that a construction worker fell from the frame work for the patio roof at 1 p.m.

"He was transported to Robinson Memorial Hospital for evaluation," Manthey said.

Management for Bar 145 said the worker needed only a few stitches and was released from the hospital Friday.
