Arsonist Reported at Kent State

Police say someone is setting fires in Prentice Hall

An arsonist is setting small fires inside a Kent State University residence hall, according to university police.

The university posted a Flash Alert Wednesday evening that stated police are looking for an unknown suspect who has been setting fire to doors at Prentice Hall.

University police advise students and staff to be on alert for suspicious people or activity. You can report any information to the Kent State Police Department by calling 330-672-3070.

Prentice Hall, dedicated in 1959, is home to about 230 students ranging from freshman to upper classmen, according to the university. It is located on Midway Drive.
