Kent police arrested seven people involved in a weekend robbery in the 400 block of Irma Drive in Kent.
According to police, a man reported a robbery and possible "unlawful detention" at 482 Irma Drive just after midnight Saturday morning. Kent police, with the assistance of Stow police, arrested seven people at the address following a brief standoff.
Two of the suspects were charged with robbery, and five were charged with obstructing official business, but further charges could follow. The names of those arrested, and their charges, are:

- Richard L. Barrow, 26, of Cleveland — robbery
- Charles R. Benton, 33, of South Euclid — robbery
- Samantha Karnowski, 19, of Windham — obstructing official business
- Jessica Heymeyer, 21, of Euclid — obstructing official business
- Daniel L. Tudor, 21, of Kent — obstructing official business
- Amelia L. Jones, 22, of Kent — obstructing official business
- David A. Owens, 22, homeless — obstructing official business
Those arrested will be arraigned on the listed charges today in Portage County Municipal Court.
Police obtained a search warrant and found the items reported stolen.
