I don't like the inference in the "How are the Roads in Kent?" survey that if the roads are bad then the service dept. isn't doing their job well. When it is like this, mother nature always wins. Only after she calms down can the plows and salt catch up.

Ben, I think in this case it's an assumption and not an inference. We're not trying to blame the service department. Rather, we're just trying to gauge opinions to see whether it's safe to drive in Kent.

I have lived in Kent for 6 years now. The Winter Service Department is the worst, I must say.

I am not sure who is in charge of the city roads but when it snows they act as if they have never plowed. You can tell immediately when you cross over in the townships as the townships roads are 100% better. We wanted to get out today and we took West Main to Stow and as we passed Stoddard's you could tell you were in Summit Co, the roads in Summit County were almost dry and well salted. When we came home down Graham Road to the light at New Comers Rd we could tell we back in PC. The roads were terrible--while we were out we saw many salt trucks not laying salt. Give me a break!
