Adam Hamilton will be laid to rest today in Standing Rock Cemetery.
The 22-year-old Kent soldier died May 28 while serving with the Army in Afghanistan after his unit was attacked with an improvised explosive device.
Hamilton will forever be a part of his hometown, where he has become a hero to many.
