The Scoop on Main Street Kent's Family Friendly Halloween - Fri., Oct. 26th!

Friday, Oct. 26th, is Main Street Kent's Family Friendly Halloween. From 5-8pm, families are invited to come downtown for the festivities and do some exploring as the kids trick-or-treat at the local businesses. Here's the scoop:

Jack-o-Lantern Contest: Stop in at Earl's Nest (Acorn Alley, next to the Arctic Squirrel), to drop off your already carved pumpkin. We'll light them up and judge them! 

Free Pizza & Water: Come down to the Hometown Bank Plaza for a snack (while it lasts) and get your trick-or-treat bag.

Trick-or-Treat: Venture out to the 20+ businesses handing out treats! 

Haunted Dance Party: Get your spooky groove on with the Kent Jaycees at the Marvin Kent train car (next to the Pufferbelly).

KSU Baseball Team: Meet the team; get autographs and treats too.

Costume Contest: KSU's Flash will be the judge! Trophies will be awarded in six categories.

Sky Lantern Release: At 8pm, we'll have a sky lantern release - some shaped like pumpkins and some in other various shapes and colors. A limited supply will be given out, but you can buy them at HOME Markets, located in Acorn Alley.
