Main Street Kent's Chocolate Walk a Great Success

Main Street Kent's Chocolate Walk a great success, with sunshine and chocolates galore.

Saturday, Feb. 9th, was the second annual Chocolate Walk, presented by Main Street Kent. You never know what the weather will bring in the middle of winter, but the day was quite perfect with plenty of sunshine and not-too-cold temperatures.

Hundreds of people toured downtown Kent, collecting a chocolate surprise at each of the 24 participating businesses, shopping and dining along the way. Standing Rock Cultural Arts also held their annual DICE event "Make Mine with Ice," an ice carving exhibition, at the Hometown Bank Plaza.

Definitely a beautiful, festive day in downtown Kent. THANK YOU to all of the businesses that participated and put together such creative, delicious chocolate treats:

Arctic Squirrel, Baked in the Village Café, Bent Tree Coffee Roasters, Carman & Pugh Photography, Carnaby Street Style, Downtown Gallery, Dragonfly, Empire, FJKluth Art Gallery, Gracylane, HOME International Markets, LAZIZA, McKay Bricker Framing & Gallery, Off the Wagon, Pita Pit, Pufferbelly, Ray's Place, Silver & Scents, Sue Nelson Designs, Taco Tonto's, The Dog Squad, Tree City Coffee & Pastry, UniversiTees, and Wild Earth Outfitters
