Main Street Kent's Chocolate Walk a Great Success

Main Street Kent's Chocolate Walk a great success, with sunshine and chocolates galore.

Saturday, Feb. 9th, was the second annual Chocolate Walk, presented by Main Street Kent. You never know what the weather will bring in the middle of winter, but the day was quite perfect with plenty of sunshine and not-too-cold temperatures.

Hundreds of people toured downtown Kent, collecting a chocolate surprise at each of the 24 participating businesses, shopping and dining along the way. Standing Rock Cultural Arts also held their annual DICE event "Make Mine with Ice," an ice carving exhibition, at the Hometown Bank Plaza.

Definitely a beautiful, festive day in downtown Kent. THANK YOU to all of the businesses that participated and put together such creative, delicious chocolate treats:
