2011 Holiday Toy Drive

Local Fire Stations Help Kent Social Services

Two Kent fire stations have been designated as drop-off sites for toys and gift cards for Kent Social Services. The main station located at 320 S. Depeyster Street on the corner of Haymaker Parkway and the West side station located at the corner of N. Mantua and Rockwell Streets. The stations are manned 24/7 and items may be dropped off any time.

Kent Social Services is in dire need of toys and gift cards for local families this Christmas season. “The need has increased significantly.  We are seeing about a 15% increase over last year in the number of families with children registering for the holiday distribution” says Christie Andersen, Manager of Kent Social Services.
