Take a Walk on the Wild Side to Support HIV/AIDS Education & Care in Kenya

AKRON, Ohio – Walk on the Wild

Side will be held on September 21 from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at the Akron Zoo.  This charity walk is hosted by Bonyo’s Kenya

Mission to support HIV/AIDS education and care for the impoverished people of Masara, Kenya. 





The event includes a walk through the zoo

before it opens to the public and information on Bonyo’s Kenya Mission.  All proceeds from the event will go directly to

provide medical care, education, resources and hope to the people living in this

area of western Kenya

affected by HIV/AIDS. 

Participants are

welcome to stay at the zoo following the walk to enjoy all the animals at their

leisure.

Pre-registration is recommended.

Walk on the Wild Side registration fee is $25 for adults and children 14

years and older, children 3 to 14 years are $10 each.  A family rate is available for $75 for four

people. 


Parking is free to walk

participants. 

Fund raising levels are

also an option.  Walkers will receive

special benefits if they raise additional funds to help support Bonyo’s Kenya

Mission.

While we focus on providing safe, quality

medical care, Bonyo’s Kenya Mission also provides education through a child

sponsorship program and income opportunities through micro-business projects.
