Attention all bike lovers and tree huggers!

Sign up for the ride on http://treeride.eventbrite.com/

We will be hosting a group ride and cookout, to benefit the Tree Research and Education Endowment Fund, on Sunday July 7 2013. The ride will have 3 options: a 30 mile road ride, a 10 road ride, and a family friendly 1-15 mile trail ride. The Road rides will meet at Portage Cyclery and the Trail Ride will meet at Beckwith's Orchards, 1617 Lake Rockwell Rd Kent, OH 44240. All riders must wear helmets! Please bring your appetites and as much sunshine as you can find ! There will be a cookout with a variety of food, including a vegetarian friendly option. There will also be an Ice Carving demonstration, live DJ by a local artist, and an open discussion to ask any questions about tree care and maintenance. Bandanas will be available for extra donations and "Trees are Good" tattoos will be given out for free. The Cookout, Ice Carving, Music, and Raffle will start at noon. Registration will be available the morning of at Portage Cyclery, but please bring cash or check if registering same day. All donations are tax deductible.
