- What's Next?
City Manager Dave Ruller, Dr. Tina Bhargava of the KSU College of Public
Health, and Don Schjeldahl, sustainability professional, participate
in a panel presentation of how the built environment affects public
health, how existing public structures and systems are evaluated, and
how public policy is influenced by public health considerations.
October 21 at the Kent Presbyterian Church, 1456 East Summit Street, the Kent
Environmental Council offers its Fall Forum. Doors open to the public at 6:30, program begins 7:00, planned to conclude at 9:00. Dr. Gene
Wenninger, chair emeritus of KSU's Department of Sociology, will
present a brief description of the development of Kent's Bicentennial Plan in 2003-2004. Charles Frederick of KSU's School of Architecture
will present the community-sourced geo-photo-mapping results compiled
over the past six months. The panelists will offer insights from their professional expertise and discuss policy-making for the future
of Kent.

public is encouraged to attend and participate, including Kent
residents and residents of other communities who have an interest in
public health and municipal policy. There is no charge for admission.
