Week in Review

It was a busy week, but we're here to make sure you didn't miss any news

Regular Kent Patch editor was on vacation this week (not sure if you all noticed), so he called in associate local editor to fill his shoes. And boy were they some big shoes.

Here's a recap of all the news that happened this week:

• The residents at as they figured out how to battle a 60-day eviction notice from Capstone Development. Residents met and began circulating a petition. They also to ensure they at least have a year to find somewhere else to live, if they have to leave at all.

• Police were on the lookout Monday for , who they said shot and killed 49-year-old Belinda Mellott in their Akron Boulevard home. He also shot and injured Gregory Cochran. Quinones was later .

• Sunrise Apartments residents also received an eviction notice, but they have to be out by Aug. 1. .
