There are still about a dozen or so smoked turkeys available for Thanksgiving courtesy Cajun Dave's and Water Street Tavern in support of the 44th Annual Brunch Bunch charity auction.
Mike Beder at Water Street and Brian Bower at Cajun Dave's are offering turkeys cooked in the restaurant's smoker for $40 with all proceeds benefiting Brunch Bunch, which supports local charities with a live auction set for 8 a.m. to noon on Thanksgiving Day at the Kent American Legion.
Beder said they're selling 50 total turkeys and they have about a dozen or so left.
The deadline to order is Friday, and orders must be placed and paid in advance by contacting Jeanne Kotis at Hall-Green Agency at 330-673-5873.
The turkeys are available for pick-up Tuesday and come with reheating instructions.
Beder said this is their third year offering the smoked birds to support the auction.
"Brunch Bunch is a great hyper-local charity group," he said.
