Pick the Best Patio in Kent: Reader's Choice

Winner will be announced Saturday on Kent Patch

This week you get to vote on the best patio in Kent, and we've got a few great options to choose from.

Kent Patch readers submitted these businesses and their patios for nomination in our poll:

So here's how it works: Vote for your favorite place in our poll below. In the event of a tie, the nominee with the most favorable reviews and comments on their Patch Places directory will win. Click on the links above to visit the nominees' directory listings.

Make sure to vote by 5 p.m. Friday. Local Editor Matt Fredmonsky will decide the winner by the most number of votes. We will announce the winner on Saturday.

Remember, we take nominations for our Reader's Choice picks starting each Monday, so when you see our weekly post add your nominee.

Water Street. Zephyr is for the hipsters/Weird/Artsy people which is why I never go there. But their patio is nice though. Just my opinion.

meh, yeh uhm i've been there, and even know people who work at both establishments. their clientele is as much of a generalization as the above generalization of the zephyr, everyone has their opinion, and everyone is wrong. the bars are like high school cliques, because somehow people still don't understand how to play well together. if anything the zephyr is the only bar accepting of all types of people instead of staying in the safe zone of like minded people.

Where were all these nominations all week? It's too late to add them to the poll, though.
Paxton Crenshaw May 18, 2012 at 03:21 AM
zephyr's crowd is very diverse and probably best represents the people who make up this town. look closely when you walk by, nate - you'll see the hipster/weird/artsy folk sharing space with academics, bikers, blue- and white-collar 40-somethings, gays and jocks. seriously, stop by for a beer sometime - people who look different are always the most fun to drink with anyway...

Riverside Wine Deck overlooking the Cuyahoga river is the best!
curseofthecuyahoga June 22, 2012 at 10:30 AM
Seriously how could you not add the Zephyr? Shotty journalism.
curseofthecuyahoga June 22, 2012 at 10:32 AM
Also yor really gonna put on tap on that list? Stowbilly!!
Matt Fredmonsky June 22, 2012 at 02:24 PM
If you read the story you'll see the poll is based on submissions and nominations from readers, which we asked for several days in advance. No one nominated the Zephyr's great 3-story deck, so they were left off at the time this piece ran. Also note that you're violating Patch's terms of use by commenting under a pseudonym user name rather than your actual name.

the point is matthew, i thought we were done pitting local businesses against each other? stop these polls. they are nonsense....
Paxton Crenshaw June 22, 2012 at 06:10 PM
i get it now - the pseudonym user name is only an issue when that user questions the journalistic integrity of the editor. If you're reminding one, Matt, you should remind them all. Or don't remind anyone - it's a stupid policy anyway.
William B Budner ESQ. June 22, 2012 at 06:12 PM
patch has journalistic integrity ? i never would have guessed...
Paxton Crenshaw June 22, 2012 at 06:12 PM
for real. maybe there should be a poll for the best patch editor...
William B Budner ESQ. June 22, 2012 at 06:17 PM
isn't best patch editor an oxymoron?
Matt Fredmonsky June 22, 2012 at 07:07 PM
Also note this poll ended in May.
