Hometown Bank is pleased to announce and welcome the addition of John Ryan our new Vice President, Commercial Loan Officer. John's extensive banking experience will further enhance our Commercial Loan department. John and his wife Jan are Kent residents. John's commitment to our communities is easily seen through his service as President of both the Kent free Library Board and the Kent Rotary Foundation. In addition he is on the Executive Committee of the Portage Economic Development Board and the Office of Global Education Advisory Board of Kent State University. As Kent Rotary's Rotarian of the Year John is past Chair of both the United Way of Portage County and the Kent Area Chamber of Commerce and past member of the Kent State University Foundation Board and active with the Great Trail Council of the Boy Scouts.
