Super Bowl 2013: Where to Watch in Kent

Where in Kent do you plan to watch the San Francisco 49ers take on the Baltimore Ravens for Super Bowl 47?

It's already being called the Harbowl: a Super Bowl clash between San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh and Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh.

The Harbaughs are the first pair of brothers to work as head coaches in the NFL, and they'll square off for Super Bowl 47 on Feb. 3.

Kickoff for the big game is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on CBS. If you're looking for a place to watch the game in Kent, here are some suggestions from our Reader's Choice for 2012 for best sports bar:

  • Buffalo Wild Wings
  • Water Street Tavern
  • Rockne's

Since that contest ended several new bars have opened in Kent, including Panini's and Bar 145, both of which have lots of big-screen TVs perfect for watching the game.

The writers at Bleacher Report have offered their Super Bowl predictions, but if you're interested in some more untraditional predictions, take a look at TIME Magazine's list of "Wacky Ways of Predicting the Winner," which includes computer and Madden NFL 2013 simulations.

Tell us: Where do you plan to watch the game? And if you plan to order from a local restaurant, please share your recommendation with the rest of us!

For the most fun I am going to the Water Street Tavern! Also I can watch the game and listen to conversation s with friends and not have to scream to talk!

Ray's Place has been showing sports on TV since 1948. Now everybody claims to be a sports bar, what else is new?

I wouldn't call Euro Gyro a "sports bar". I joke to the bartenders that I don't think it's a "real" bar. But that's another story for another time. Of course, then again, the "oldtime music" that is played at Gyro every first Sunday of the month kept me from going to my favorite watering hole because they play the same set of "songs" every time.
