Smoker at Cajun Dave's OK'd by Kent Council

Permission to use smoker narrowly passes in 5-4 vote

The in downtown Kent will stay there for at least six more months.

Kent City Council members approved allowing the smoker in a narrow 5-4 vote Wednesday night.

The city will review the issue again in another six months to see if problems voiced by neighboring business owners have been resolved or continue to cause concern. Wednesday's close vote comes two weeks after council approved the smoker during a lengthy committee meeting.

How many times do they need to vote on this? I love what Cajun Dave's is doing, but couldn't be less interested in reading another story about this smoker. Doesn't Council have anything better to do than argue about this?
