Gas Prices On the Decline

National average has dropped for ten consecutive days.

The national average price of gas has dropped five cents from just a week ago, according to AAA, and prices are expected to continue their decline.

Wednesday's national average gas price was $3.80, down from $3.85 on Sept. 19.

The lowest price in Kent on Thursday wa $3.66 per gallon at the Sunoco station on West Main Street.

Tom Kloza, chief oil analyst at the Oil Price Information Service (OPIS), told Marketwatch that prices could fall into the $3.70s this week.

The average gas price in Ohio on Wednesday was $3.83.
