WATCH: Evolution of New Davey Tree Building
Firm scheduled to open downtown in August; retail shops will follow
The new Davey Resource Group building, otherwise known as Building "A," is nearing completion at the corner of South Water Street and Haymaker Parkway in downtown Kent.
Dan Smith, Kent Economic Development Director, said the firm, a division of the , is expected to be open and operating in the new building by the third week of August.
"I would say the remaining tenants should be opening in the week or two that follows," Smith said. "After Labor Day weekend, we should have a host of new businesses up and running."
