Huth: I live in Kent now and I went to Kent State University, but I’m from Russell Township near Chagrin Falls, OH.

Patch: What brought you to Kent?

Huth: I studied fashion here and knew about the new construction going on here. I was working at Nordstrom when I ran into the project developer (Randy Ruttenberg of Fairmount Properties), and he asked me if I had ever thought about opening a shop. My dad had wanted to open a yoga studio.

Patch: What is your favorite thing about working downtown?

Huth: It’s kind of nice to have been a student here and to come back. It’s kind of like deja vu, except I’m on the other side. I think the people that go here now really love it and embrace the new culture we’re trying to establish.

Patch: What’s one thing most people might be surprised to learn about you?

Huth: I take a lot of nature walks and hikes and I post my photos on a weird nature blog sort of thing at allnaturalapril.tumblr.com
