Kent Mayor Jerry Fiala recognized Bissler & Sons Funeral Home Wednesday as the business marks 100 years in Kent.
Fiala declared today Bissler Family Day in Kent in honor of the landmark.
The firm held its first funeral in July 1913 in Kent.
