VIDEO: The O.N.E. Band

One Nice Evolution, aka the "O.N.E." band, is the epitome of rust-belt rock.

The band is comprised of high school students from the suburbs of Kent, Brimfield and North Canton and oozes a mellow soul sound. Still, they can rock hard — and loud.

They are dedicated. They come together twice a week for a few hours in an industrial part of downtown Akron to practice. They write their own material, rather than simply cover what's popular today, and that's a testament to their dedication.

The band fought hard and played well during a recent battle of the bands at the Cleveland House of Blues, but they did not emerge victorious.

Still, they forge on. O.N.E. band has a few shows lined up in the Akron area, and you can expect more if they continue to develop and progress as musicians. Watch the video to get to know the players, and you can listen to their single Flirting With Disaster in the second video here.
