MSN: Cleveland Is Second Coolest City in Midwest

So tell us, what do you think makes Cleveland cool?

MSN says that Cleveland is the second coolest city in the midwest

Why is that? The article mentioned the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, the Cleveland Museum of Art's new mirrored addition and the Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights.

Do you agree that when many people say Cleveland they include the great cities around it including Lakewood, Cleveland Heights, Mentor and Strongsville?

What is it about Kent that helps make Cleveland cool?

What makes Cleve. cool is the lake. It creates lake effect and the temp's are usually +-10 degree difference.

Studies show that water is the main feature that attracts visitors to a location and historical sites are another. On Oct. 20, 2012, Kent State University opened the May 4 Visitors Center, which tells the story of the May 4, 1970, shootings set in the context of the 1960s and offering opportunity for reflection on the meaning of the event for today. We've had many visitors from the greater Cleveland area, but also from California, Oregon, Washington state, Australia, Canada, and more. Open hours for the museum are posted at www.kent.edu/may4. Hope to see you here.

Kent does add so much to the whole Northeast Ohio region. I have family in California, Georgia and New York. They love coming back home and enjoying the great things - both old and new.

Kent can't make Cleveland cool since Kent itself isn't cool. Not to mention how uncool Cleveland is.

Our Great Lake - Lake Erie! I grew up in Willoughby, but now reside in Brimfield. As an avid sea kayaker, what I miss most about Cleveland is the lake...
