The Greenhorns (Movie)

As part of the 6th Annual "Who's Your Mama" Earth Day and Environmental Film Festival, the Kent Free Library will offer a free screening of The Greenhorns on Wednesday, April 25 at 7:00 pm.  The documentary The Greenhorns, by farmer-filmmaker-activist Severine von Tscharner Fleming, tells the stories of revolutionary young farmers resettling the land.  Learn how a new generation of farmers are moving out of the margins of the current industrial culture and back to the heart of the American food landscape.

Abbe Turner of Lucky Penny Creamery will introduce the film and lead a discussion afterwards about the efforts of local farmers and members of the Slow Food Movement.

No registration is necessary.  For more information, please contact the Information Desk at 330.673.4414 or kflinfo@kentfreelibrary.org.
