St. Pet's Day Pet Walk Rescheduled

Event set for April 13 at Fred Fuller Park

The Celtic Club's St. Pet's Day Pet Parade in downtown Kent — postponed due to weather on March 16 — has been rescheduled.

It will now be called the St. Pet's Day Crooked River Pet Walk and will take place at Fred Fuller Park in Kent at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 13.

Participants and their pets will walk along the Cuyahoga River pathway from Fred Fuller Park to Tannery Park and back.

St. Pet's Day is in memory of WNIR radio host Tom Erickson, a strong pet advocate. The Celtic Club is inviting pet lovers and their pets to come to Fred Fuller Park in Kent and to please bring donations of dog andcat food and cat litter for humane andpet rescue groups.
