St. Pet's Day is bringing its Pet Parade to downtown Kent on Saturday.
St. Pet's Day is a month-long pet food donation drive sponsored by the Celtic Club of Ohio in Portage, Stark and Summit counties.
All the donated pet food and supplies will go to support humane societies and animal rescue groups throughout the area.
The Celtic Club's Ninth Annual St. Pet's Day Pet Parade starts at noon Saturday at Kent's Hometown Bank Plaza.
The Celtic Club is inviting pet lovers and their pets to dress in their finest Irish attire and come to the Hometown Bank Plaza for a parade through the downtown, which will be followed by live music provided by the Steelheaders in the plaza.
People attending the Pet Parade are asked to please bring donations of dry dog/cat food and cat litter for humane/animal rescue groups.
