Snapshot: Finishing Touches on Erie Street

Crews put down parking striping

The majority of Erie Street is just about finished and ready for cars to park and drive on after months of construction.

Street crews put down paint to mark the parking spots on the reconstructed downtown street today.

The road, between South Water and South DePeyster streets, also got its final coating of pavement this week. But there are still a few final touches to be done, such as brick work detailing pedestrian crossings at Acorn Alley and the intersection with South Water Street.
