Update: Road Closures for Bridge Work Start Thursday

The road closures expected to start today due to construction on the Fairchild Avenue Bridge have been delayed until Thursday because of the rain and thunderstorms moving through the area.

The road closings and time periods are:

• Crain Avenue, from North Water Street to North DePeyster Street, 138 days (until September).
• North Water Street, from Brady Street to Crain Avenue (138 days).
• Cuyahoga Street and Fairchild Avenue will close at North Mantua Street for three weeks.
• North Mantua Street will be reduced to one lane in both directions in the construction area for three weeks.
