R-C: No Rally Tonight for Silver Oaks Seniors
Supporters plan to still submit petitions to Kent City Council
There will be no public rally outside city hall tonight for the seniors being forced out of , the Record-Courier reported this morning.
That won't stop the seniors who are still fighting their forced removal from the complex from submitting petitions to tonight showing the community's support for their plight.
Still, who don't want to be forced out of the retirement complex, which owner Tell Real Estate Trust is planning to sell to Alabama-based Capstone Development Corp. Capstone plans to turn the 13-acre complex into housing targeted at students attending neighboring . Residents must be out by Oct. 1.
