A little more than 2 inches of stormwater runoff swelled streams and rivers in Kent today and caused some minor flooding that closed one road.

The remaining snow pack from Friday's snowstorm added to about 1.5 inches of rain that fell early this morning.

While some flooding occurred, the city's emergency departments reported no serious calls due to the thunderstorms that rocked the area.
