Movember a Hair-Raising Month at Kent Architecture Firm

"Mo Bros" at David Sommers & Associates again participate in nationwide campaign to raise funds, awareness for men's health issues.

Once again the men of David Sommers & Associates LLC in downtown Kent participated in a facial hair growth contest in support of Movember, the nationwide campaign to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues, especially prostate and testicular cancer initiatives.

“This is such a great cause, and the guys have a lot of fun competing against one another," said David Sommers, firm president. "This is the second year in a row that we've participated. It's fun, but more importantly it raises awareness of the importance of men's health issues."

According to the Movember website, registered participants "start Movember 1st clean shaven. For the rest of the month, these selfless and generous men, known as Mo Bros, groom, trim and wax their way into the annals of fine moustachery."
