Check the city kennel if your dog is lost or you're in the market for a new pup
The three spots in Kent's dog kennel are full today with either strays or dogs who have been lost by city residents.
Located on Plum Street near , the city kennel serves as an impound for loose dogs reported to the city's animal control officer.
So if you're missing your dog, the kennel is a good place to check. And if you're looking for a new pup, many of the dogs at the kennel who are unclaimed become available for adoption.

Not all dogs can be adopted due to temperament, but you can call the and talk with the animal control officer to find out at 330-673-7732. The kennel is open for claiming your lost dog or adopting a new one during daylight hours.
