Are you and/or your child interested in how the S, T, E, and M of STEM work together to do really cool things?
Maybe you’re looking for a way to challenge kids to think like scientists and engineers?
Robots is for you! Teams build, test, and program an autonomous robot to solve a set of missions in a competitive robot game. FLL teams will also identify and solve a real world problem for the Project aspect of their mission.
This year’s FLL teams will focus on “Nature’s Fury: Prepare. Stay Safe. Rebuild.” The FLL season kicks off on August 27th, with the regional tournament at Hudson High School on December 15th, 2013.
The kickoff for FTC teams is September 7, 2013 when its mission is released.
Teams are forming now at both the First Lego League (FLL, including grades 6-8) and First Tech Challenge (FTC, grades 9-12).
