Community invited to participate in survey for Mental Health & Recovery Board
Here's an opportunity to have some input on how the Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County prioritizes the need for mental health and addiction treatment services in the county.
Complete our 3 question survey right here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/NTZVVN7. Easy! The information will be used to help the Mental Health & Recovery Board develop the county's community plan for services for the next year.
The MHRB funds, plans and monitors local mental health and addiction treatment services for Portage County residents. That means the board provides funds that pay for children, teens and adults to receive counseling and other services. Adults and families pay what they can afford based on their income. The board also funds 24-hour crisis services.
The actual services are provided through local community agencies: Coleman Professional Services, Townhall II, Children's Advantage and Family and Community Services.
If you have questions, call the MHRB office at 330-673-1756. Thank you!
