Running For a Cure

Support a Kent State student's fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Hello All!

My name is Amanda Douvis and I am a senior at Kent State University. I need some help! I am raising money and awareness for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

Cancer has affected my family personally and I know that there are many other families out there who have to deal with it. This is the reason I run. I run for a cause and I run for a cure.

I will be running in the 2013 Washington DC Women's Half Marathon to help support a great cause. I will be training for this event by working with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training. Not only do I get the coaching and the chance to train with others, I get to raise money along the way. I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well. I am asking for donations no matter what the amount! There is no such thing as a small donation. Anything can make a difference. With your help I am sure we can exceed my goal of $3,200!

Donations can be made via the link provided below.
