Five Police Department Facebook Pages You Should Like

Police departments are working harder to stay connected with the community and many use Facebook to do it.

1. The Kent Police department's Facebook page has 2400 followers. They post information on traffic, photos and videos, news about the police department itself and even some city news including levy details and community events.

2. The Stow Police department Facebook page has nearly 1,500 followers. They share traffic reports, crime information, postings about lost pets as well as good news.

3. With more than 3,800 followers, the Cuyahoga Falls Police department's Facebook page shares crime reports, mug shots of wanted criminals as well as traffic news.

4. The Streetsboro Police department's Facebook page has nearly 3,000 followers and shares traffic news, crime prevention tips, photos from community outreach, but not many crime reports.

5. We'd be remiss if we didn't mention the Akron Police department's Facebook page, with its 10,065 followers. The Akron page shares community information, traffic reports, crime warnings and information on wanted criminals.
