Kent State University volunteers are providing a free tax service for low- to moderate-income taxpayers. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program site, located in Rooms A224 and A226 in the College of Business Administration Building, is open for walk-ins and appointmentsfrom 10 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on March 10 and April 7 and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. March 31.

The eight-campus Kent State University system is anchored in Kent, where the main campus draws about 26,000 students anually to the city for classes and other activities.
In the fall of 2010, KSU surpassed the University of Cincinnati in total enrollment across all eight campuses with 41,365 students to become the second largest public university in Ohio.
