The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs estimates that PTSD afflicts almost 31 percent of Vietnam veterans, 10 percent of Gulf War (Desert Storm) veterans, 11 percent of Afghanistan War veterans, and 21 percent of Iraqi war veterans.
Gretchen Foley, M.D., Air Force Psychiatrist at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, will discuss PTSD and the various treatment options available to our veterans on Thursday, Nov. 8 from noon to 1 p.m. in the Intermediate Hall of the NEOMED Ralph Regula Conference and Event Center.
