DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that the first Wick Poetry Center 
 reading of 2013 is Take Nine.  Take Nine is a group of nine Cleveland ar
 ea poets who read\, eat\, and  write together. Among the group are two f
 ormer Cleveland Heights Poet  Laureates\, winners of Artist Fellowships 
 from the Ohio Arts Council and  the Community Partnership for Arts and C
 ulture\, editors of literary  journals and anthologies\, poetry workshop
  instructors\, arts managers\,  winners of awards from Northern Ohio Liv
 e\, the Ohio Educational  Broadcasting Corporation and the Cleveland Pre
 ss Club among others.&nbsp\;  There is a Pushcart Award nominee\, a perf
 ormance poet\, former radio and  television producers\, a past Haiku Dea
 th Match champion\, and a poet  featured on Garrison Keillor&rsquo\;s &l
 dquo\;A Prairie Home Companion.&rdquo\;&nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;\nTogether
   their work has been published in more than 100 local and national  jou
 rnals\, e-journals\, anthologies\, and soon on a music and poetry CD.&nb
 sp\;  But above all\, they are nine friends who laugh together on a regu
 lar  basis\, and challenge and support each other in their shared love o
 f the  written and spoken word.\n&nbsp\;\nThe  members of Take Nine incl
 ude Gail Bellamy\, Kathleen Cerveny\, Katie  Daley\, Meredith Holmes\, B
 onnie Jacobson\, Rita Grabowski\, Darlene  Montonaro\, Linda Goodman Rob
 iner\, and Cindy Washabaugh.\n&nbsp\;\nThe reading will take place at 7:
 30 p.m. on January 30 in room 306 AB of the Kent Student Center. The rea
 ding is free and open to the public.
