 pbook Competition -Poetry Chapbook Contest &ndash\; to result in publica

 uly 1st and end  September 30th. -Winning chapbook will be released as t
 he new title in the SRCA Rock in the River Literary Series in early 2013

  RIGHTS PRIOR TO SENDING SUBMISSION.  ENTRY FEE: $9 per manuscript submi
 ssion\, payable on Submishmash  (including PayPal options)\; Snail mail 
 entries may pay by check payable  to SRCA. -Fees will be used to defray 
 expenses of the contest. Any remaining fees  will benefit our nonprofit

 ring (February 1st approximately)  PURPOSE: To promote the literary arts
  in our general area\, promote  poet/s with publication\, and potentiall
 y raise funds for SRCA arts  programming through any remaining entry fee
 s/gallery sales of winning  chapbook.  PRIZES: The winner of the contest
  will receive 25 copies &amp\; $50 cash prize -Each entrant to the conte
 st aside from winner will receive a copy of  the winning chapbook (multi
 ple copies or titles as available if multiple  entries) -In the event of
  a tie\, each winner will receive 15 copies &amp\; $25  JUDGES: Guest (B
 lind) Judges Lynne Albert\, John Dorsey\, and Allen Hines  (with potenti
 al semifinalist/finalist Editor/Judge Tina Puckett)  LYNNE ALBERT has a 
 bachelor's degree in Children's Book Illustration  from The University o
 f Findlay but has directed her creative energy  primarily towards poetry
  lately. At Valparaiso University\, where she  began undergraduate study
 \, she served as Assistant Editor of the  literary magazine The Lighter\
 , in which her work also appeared.. She has  additionally had poetry and
  prose published in the literary magazines  at the University of Findlay
  and Ursuline College. Most recently\, Lynne  had poems included in the 
 Vending Machine: Poetry for Change and Hessler  Street Poetry Anthology 
 compilations. Active in the Cleveland literary  community\, Lynne&rsquo\
 ;s creative focus includes raising awareness about  mental illness and h
 omelessness. She has been working on a poetry  compilation about her vol
 unteer experiences at a homeless shelter\, where  she was involved with 
 therapeutic poetry and sketching groups.  JOHN DORSEY currently resides 
 in Toledo\, Ohio. He is the author of  several collections of poetry\, i
 ncluding harvey keitel\, harvey keitel  harvey keitel\, with S.A. Griffi
 n and Scott Wannberg (Butcher Shop  Press/Rose of Sharon Press/Temple of
  Man\, 2005)\, Teaching the Dead to  Sing: The Outlaw's Prayer (Rose of 
 Sharon Press\, 2006)\, and Sodomy is a  City in New Jersey (American Met
 tle Books\, 2010). His work has been  nominated for the Pushcart Prize. 
  ALLEN MICHAEL HINES\, winner of a 2007 Stan and Tom Wick poetry  schola
 rship\, is a writer and researcher for the Committee in Solidarity  with
  the People of El Salvador. His chapbook Screaming Freedom was  publishe
 d in 2009. Allen&rsquo\;s poetry has appeared in several publications  a
 nd is forthcoming in an anthology from BlazeVOX.  TINA PUCKETT is a grad
 uate student of the Northeast Ohio MFA (NEOMFA)  program with a concentr
 ation in Poetry. She has appeared in Phoebe  (SUNY)\, The Penguin Review
 \, MUSE\, The Listening Eye\, Luna Negra\, Jenny\,  and the Hessler Stre
 et Poetry Anthology amongst other publications and  currently has a poem
  exhibited in The Wick Poetry Center&rsquo\;s Speak Peace  Traveling Exh
 ibition. Tina additionally serves as the Editor for the  series and prev
 iously served as Editor-In-Chief for (then national)  literary journal C
