SilverSneakers Cardio Circuit
Anyone 65 and older is invited to this class that combines fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with non-impact aerobic choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching and relaxation exercises.
Exercise for 45 minutes and stay after to socialize over coffee, tea, and snacks.
More About Kent Recreation Center
The Kent Recreation Center provides a variety of programs for Kent's youth such as karate and basketball. Many of the local schools utilize the space for sports and practices. The space can also be rented for two-hour time slots on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am to 10pm for $25.
