Have you wondered what the TimeBank buzz is all about?
Join more than 400 like-minded individuals in Kent and the surrounding areas who find that banking on community actually SAVES time! One hour equals one Time Credit, no matter what the service is. There are literally hundreds of ways for you to spend Time Credits at KCTB.
These informational meetings also serve as an orientation. You will learn the general concept of TimeBanking as well as the history of the Kent Community TimeBank: where we came from, where we are now and where we WANT to be! Finally, we offer a hands-on software tutorial which will help you start TimeBanking right away.
For members who signed on earlier than 6 months ago, this is a great way to get re-inspired to TimeBank and brush up on the software!

More About Kent Free Library
The Kent Free Library dates back to 1902 and was founded on a donation from philanthropist Andrew Carnegie, but a recent addition gives the library all the technological advances expected of a modern facility.
Finished in 2005, a new three-story addition tripled the size of the existing library. Amenities include a conference room available to the community, a second-floor children's wing and a dedicated senior reading room.
The Kent Free Library offers a number of free programs for residents and card holders, including a job search program.
