The Annual Spring Flower Sale to benefitTheodore Roosevelt High School instrumental music students is Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the high school.

Shoppers can choose from a wide variety of colorful flowers in flats and hanging baskets, provided by local grower Tony Battaglia & Sons Plants. A portion of each sale will be credited directly to students, who can use the money to help pay for their music program expenses, including uniforms and marching band camp.

Flower varieties available in flats include impatiens, begonias, petunias, marigolds, dusty miller, dahlias, salvia and zinnias. Hanging basket flowers include impatiens, begonias, fuchsia, and petunias.

The sale this year is “cash and carry,” so shoppers can pick their flowers directly from the large selection that will be available. Purchases can be paid for with cash, check, MasterCard, VISA or Discover.

The Spring Flower Sale is sponsored each year by the Kent Instrumental Music Boosters, a nonprofit organization that provides financial and volunteer support for the instrumental music program at Theodore Roosevelt High School.
