Kent State University’s School of Art Galleries presents the exhibition Painting in the Dark by Patricia Zinsmeister Parker. In support of the exhibtion, there will be a reception from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 21.

Zinsmeister Parker uses her painting and printmaking skills to create extremely colorful compositions that dance along the border of Abstract Expressionism and Post-Modern. Her paintings are more abstract displays of still life whereas her prints are simple yet vibrant.

Gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
