Outreach, highways and transit on meeting agenda
A public meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m., Thursday, July 19 at the Richard Howe House located at 47 West Exchange Street in Akron to discuss local and regional transportation issues.
The Citizens Involvement Committee of AMATS will discuss the agency’s draft Public Participation Plan, which details how the agency will continue and improve its ongoing public outreach in the Greater Akron area. There will also be presentations regarding the draft Highway Preservation Needs Report and Transit Needs Report - key elements of the agency’s upcoming long-range regional transportation plan.
